Please Note:

From 2011-2016, we had an inspiration blog featuring nurseries, baby showers, parties, and portraits that were submitted to us by photographers, designers, and parents. We no longer accept submissions or post new blog content, but we have left the archive here for those who have saved this content, or for new readers looking for inspiration.

Willow's Nursery

Olivia of Here Comes Baby wanted a nursery for her little girl Willow that was feminine and elegant, but without being too girly and pink. She threw the traditional girl color palette out the window and instead chose a white backdrop with fresh, fun pops of green, yellow, and blue. As a nod to Willow's name, Olivia brought in a little bit of a forest feel with a few touches, like the tree decals and some cute owls. The room also has plenty of smart thrift store finds and a few DIY projects, which make the room feel more personal while also being more budget-friendly. Some highlights include the DIY twine spheres, wall of eclectic frames, and a re-purposed and renewed thrift store dresser turned changing table. Olivia described this nursery best when she called it, "the perfect mix of bright, vintage, and earthy." If you'd like to see a bit more of Willow's lovely space, stop by the full gallery.
