We're big fans of nurseries that are full of fun color and whimsy, like this beautiful space by Natali Alexander of Serendipity Do for her daughter Greta. With the gender being kept a surprise until birth, Natali designed the room to work for either a boy or a girl, and we love that it still has so much personality. This nursery is sure to bring smiles and inspire so much imagination. Jessica Claire captured all of the beautiful images, and you can see more in the full gallery. Read on below for the details from Natali:
"As a professional event planner and stylist, I most often use my design skills for fleeting, although (hopefully) fabulous endeavors rather than permanent installations. When we found out we were pregnant I jumped at the opportunity to style something that would have a little more staying power than my usual projects. I originally finished the nursery not knowing if we were having a boy or girl and then added a few pops of pink once our darling Greta was born. Even though it was technically 'gender neutral' I wanted it to be anything but neutral! One of my favorite details is the Eames 'Hang it All', which drove the overall color palate and the multiple refinished pieces which were painted in bright pops of color to coordinate and pull the overall look together. The room was captured beautifully by the incomparable photographer and personal friend, Jessica Claire."
