Our favorite baby shower themes are those that honor the mom or baby in a special, personal way, like this charming one for Rachael captured by Rebecca Hollis Photography. Sage is the name of Rachael's baby girl on the way, so they came up with the idea of an herb inspired baby shower! Alisa Lewis Event Design styled it all perfectly in the spirit of the theme with herbs used as decor and heirloom sage seed packets as favors. Love! The setting for the shower in the historic Blackwell Hotel with perfect pieces from the Attic Vintage Rentals and beautiful florals by Garden of Eden Florals, gave the event a lovely, rustic atmosphere. Guests dined on a fun little buffet of homemade breakfast items, like mini pancake stacks, banana bread, a yogurt parfait station, and fruit kabobs. This is beautiful! I was instantly drawn to these photos because my favorite book is quoted - "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always. As long as I'm living, my baby you'll be." I love reading that book to my sweet boys. My oldest who is three and half asks me if I can read the "like you for ever" book to him :) This baby shower looks amazing - very natural, earthy, and delicate all at the same time.
