Little Avery happens to love farm animals, which turned out to be the perfect theme for her darling first birthday party, crafted with love by her mom Kristin. This pretty party was light and feminine in pinks, oranges, and a hint of yellow. Kristin found the perfect printables for the day on Etsy by Baby Buns Designs, then created most of the decor herself, including the dessert table runner, mini bunting on the front door wreath and in the favor basket, and Avery’s birthday hat (using this template).
Guests enjoyed pink lemonade in mini glass bottles (which were actually cleaned and prettied up Starbucks Frappuccino bottles!) and homemade mac ’n cheese, amongst other delicious items. For dessert, Kristin stocked the table full of adorable homemade treats, including mini cupcakes, Oreo truffle pops, mini cupcakes, brownies, and the cutest piggie and “1” sugar cookies, which were made and decorated by Avery’s talented grandmother. The cake was made by French's Pastry Bakery, while Kristin made the super cute fondant barn and horse for the top. Adult guests brought some sweetness home with the snack mix favors, while the kiddos favor bags held stickers, large crayons, a mini rubber ducky, and homemade, edible play dough.
