There is no denying the circus theme is still going strong! It's been a popular idea for both nurseries and events as it taps into that nostalgic feeling for the adults, while providing plenty of fun for the little ones. With that all-ages appeal in mind, Cheryl Nguyen and her husband Minh Bach planned this amazing vintage circus themed birthday party to celebrate their daughter Emily turning one. Their cute family even sported coordinating outfits in matching circus fabric, made by Cheryl and her mother! This husband and wife team clearly have a knack for putting together fantastic events, as they also planned their own darling baby shower featured here last year.

Nearly everything you see was DIYed, from the marquee sign made by Minh, to the beautiful dessert spread created by Cheryl's friend. There are some great circus birthday party ideas here to pin for your own event. There are many more photos over in the full gallery if you'd like to see more!
