Artist Kelli Murray set out to create a calming, dreamy space for her baby girl Rylee that was infused with vintage finds, sweet little animals, and handmade details. We are beyond smitten with this room! Kelli has long adored the color peach, so when she found out she was having a girl, she knew it would be the perfect color for her nursery. She filled out the palette with a soft gray on the walls ("Smooth Stone" by Glidden) and ivory, taupe, and gray accents. As a big fan of Etsy, nearly all of the decor details you see were found on Etsy (see the full list of credits at the bottom of this post).
The budget got a break when Kelli found the crib on Craigslist for only $25! Rylee's dad, Sam, reinforced the bolts, repainted it, and sanded the edges to give it a vintage distressed look. Saving so much money on the crib enabled her to order her dream crib bedding, the Matteo Tat Crib Set from Layla Grace in greige. The small dresser and white floor lamp were both discounted finds at Home Goods, while the changing table was sourced from Vignettes Antiques at the Ocean Beach Antique District. The dresser and changing table were repainted and refinished to match the crib. The last major piece of furniture, the Nurseryworks Empire Rocker, was a splurge she first found on pinterest and then tracked down.
