Sybil's Nursery

Sybil's Nursery

Photographer Lainie Deerman shared her daughter Sybil's darling nursery with us, and it has so many sweet personal details. From the fantastic "LOVE" shelf built by Sybil's dad Sean, to all the little items in the room that belonged to Lainie as a child, you can feel the love and care that went into the room planning. The nursery has a great mix of older pieces and current trends, like the geometric details you can find in the curtains and mobile. Read on for all of the info from Lainie, then stop by the full gallery to see all of the photos!

"I designed this nursery as a continuation of the style of our home, but with special touches just for baby. I was inspired to keep her room earthy with touches of gilded metals and geometric forms. I incorporated quite a few elements that were mine as a child like the little rocker & books (especially The World's Best Fairy Tales which my dad read to me all the time as a child) My goal was to create a space that was soft, warm and very distinctive to what I had been envisioning our sweet Sybil's personality to be like."
