This cute sweet shoppe themed birthday party was created with love for Hailey, the daughter of Elizabeth Seaton of Posh Paperie, and beautifully photographed by Jackie Wonders. Hailey turned four in style (how cute is she, by the way?) with this adorable party, which featured a huge sundae bar with all the toppings kids could imagine. The ice cream bar was stocked full with 4 flavors of ice cream, 3 syrups, and home made cookies. Posh Paperie designed the paper goods with a mint green, pale pink, and brown color palette, incorporating a mix of patterns and textures like polka dots, gingham, stripes, and different types of ribbon. The invitation was decorated with a silk ribbon and a tiny red crystal "cherry" on top of the ice cream cone -- too cute! The ice cream cone and script text were hand drawn by Karrie of Posh Paperie, and every piece of paper was water colored by hand.
For the favors, Karrie and Elizabeth filled clear boxes with ice cream themed treats, including custom-made chocolates, foam ice cream poppers, bubbles in an ice cream cone container, ice cream pots of lip gloss for the girls. For games, the kids had an ice cream relay with a "Melissa & Doug" ice cream set, and also played "Pass the Bag" with treats in brown sacks adorned with an ice cream scoop design. The party also had an art table the kids loved with "make your own ice cream" coloring sheets with glitter, pom poms, sequins, and markers on hand for even more fun.
