"Oliver's first birthday party took place at the The Pluckemin Inn in Bedminester, NJ. The venue has a lovely historic feel as it was modeled after a colonial era farm house. It was the perfect setting for a wintry woodland rustic themed party."
"Cana's Miracle did an amazing job creating all of the beautiful details. Guests found their seats with escort cards attached to yarn pompoms which were fastened to tree branches."
"Before entering the dining room everyone walked past a table covered with framed photographs of Oliver from the past year. Anyone who correctly guessed how old he was in each image they would win a prize!"
"The adorable birthday boy, looking dapper in a navy blue sweater and plaid shirt, had a wonderful time!"
"The highlight of the party was definitely the dessert table. It was decorated with silvery white flowers and pine cones mixed with mercury glass candle holders which evoked the winter season. Rustic elements like birds and birch tree candle holders added to the woodland feel. And, fitting with the theme, it was actually snowing outside!"
"After the birthday boy blew out his candle, guests enjoyed the darling owl themed cake baked by Jennifer Choi. If that wasn't enough, she also made delicious mini cupcakes and pie pops. Everyone especially loved the unique treat aptly named, dessert in a jar. The parchment paper top and wood spoon certainly gave it a rustic feel."
"No one went home empty handed. At the end of the day each guest received a gift bag filled with all of the ingredients necessary to make s'mores. How fun!"
