Luca's Comfy, Modern Nursery

Do you remember the beautiful sunset maternity session we shared a few months ago? Baby Luca finally arrived in October, and his mama, Jeanette Quintero of Candy Crush Shop, was kind enough to share the adorable nursery she designed for him. Jeanette's goal was to create a space that reflected the modern style of her family, but was also comfy at the same time. She started with the "white canvas" of the white room, then added in black, gray, white, and mint details. We love the fun touches in the subtle Batman pieces. Jeanette shared more about the inspiration behind the design:

"Thanks to Etsy I was able to combine my love for handmade and find unique items that reflected the concept and design. I feel in love with a geometric pattern quilt, which was the inspiration for my nursery. Our nursery is a mixture of all of the things I love! I wanted a modern feel to compliment the all white room and panel walls, we wanted to include a modern crib and touches of handmade goods (blocks, letter sign, prints), as well making sure their was a little comfort and dashes of color like the quilt, rug, clouds, mobile, we also included our love for DIY by adding a dresser, hooks, book shelves, and most of all, I wanted it to reflect comfort."

Jeanette also shared some sweet newborn portraits, including some shots of baby Luca with mom Jeanette along with his big sister. See more below, plus the full gallery for all of the beautiful photos, captured by Olinda Plancarte.
