This baby sprinkle styled by Paula Biggs of Frog Prince Paperie is a lovely, lavender dream! Every little detail is so thoughtful and pretty. Paula's friend, expecting mom Karrie, had recently moved to a new city without the same support system. So when she decided to come back down for a visit, they knew a baby sprinkle to let her know how much she is loved was definitely in order. With that in mind, "baby LOVE" became the perfect theme.
The decor included so many beautiful elements, including chandeliers of paper hearts and dozens of white paper heart garlands. The pretty details continued to the tables, with lavender bundle centerpieces, cutwork lace tablecloths, and napkins tied with personalized purple ribbon accented with a sprig of baby's breath. Each place setting also included a lavender and lemon salt scrub as a favor for each guest.
For dessert, Paula baked not one but *five* lovely cakes (chocolate, lemon with blackberry crème, bailey’s-soaked le reine, coconut, and plain white cake with swiss meringue frosting), covering any craving Karrie might have. The pretty dessert table also included chocolate covered oreos from Sweet Temptations and gorgeous sugar cookies with impeccable details, like tiny delicate ruffles, by JP Creatibles.
As a reminder of how much Karrie and her baby are loved, guests wrote love notes on squares of material that were later made into a quilt for Karrie’s daughter. The sweetness continued with a performance of "Baby Love" by three of the partygoers donning 50s style flip wigs. How fun and adorable is that? As a final little touch of love, guests took home a favor from the beautiful paper bouquet of lollipop roses from The Sweetest Affair. The photos were captured John McLaughlin, and you can see more in the full gallery.
