This lovely tea party birthday for darling one-year-old London is so pretty and feminine! Kirsten Julia Photography captured the beautiful photographs of this thoughtfully planned party with a tea party theme inspired by the birthday girl's name. I can't resist the gorgeous florals by Cherries, the sparkle in the chevron tablecloth from La Tavola Linen, or the fun, elegant invitations by Maybelle Calligraphy and Design made to look like oversized tea bags! London's mom Ashley planned the party, and shared more details with us below:
"When I first started planning London's first birthday celebration, I imagined a mid-afternoon enchanted, wintery, British tea in our home, with vintage touches and detail. Elegant and intimate, yet whimsical, with a muted color palette, lots of ribbon, tulle, sequins, and oversized balloons. I envisioned a lighter feminine fare of tea, a few sparkling drinks, tea sandwiches, macarons, and sweet treats, which Crown & Crumpet conveyed perfectly on their signature china and antique serving pieces atop La Tavola Linen's sequin chevron table linen. Florals were in a variety of vintage silver vases, with lamb's ear, sweet peas, ranunculus, and cabbage roses by Cherries Flowers in San Francisco, in a muted palette. I truly enjoyed working with each of the vendors on all of the creative aspects to make it such a memorable milestone and special day for our little petite."
