With a love of travel and sports, a "Little Globetrotter" theme was perfect for the baby shower honoring expecting parents Tanya and Freemon. Pure Joy Events designed this charming shower, using the chocolate brown and baby blue color palette from invitations made to look like passports. The theme carried over into the menu with a plentiful buffet that included international dishes from around the world. The cake and favor table was decorated with 36" balloons, mini suitcases, along with festive rosettes and bunting created from world maps. For favors, guests received cake bite "globes" adorned with little airplanes which were packaged inside boxes with thank you tags in five languages.
The shower also included a fun photo booth area stocked with props with handcrafted garlands and rosettes as the backdrop. After snapping a photo, guests stamped their passports. The passports were also used as cards for guests to share words of wisdom with the parents-to-be. Love this idea! Rebecca Watkins Photography captured all of the lovely photos, and you can see more in the full gallery.
