This charming hiking theme birthday party was inspired by photographer Jennifer Klementti's daughter's love of the outdoors. She loves being outside, feeding the birds, climbing hills, and exploring. The color inspiration came from the beautiful Japanese paper used in the decor. To keep that outdoorsy feeling, Jennifer used natural items with an organic feel, such as pine cones and branches. Little signs were stamped with phrases the two-year-old guest-of-honor had begun to say, such as "climb tall mountain", "feed the birds", "go hiking" and "Mr. Moon way up high".
A big hit with the party guests was the treasure hunt, where they searched for Tall Mountain Trail Mix by matching a leaf on a handmade necklace to treasure markers. The guests also were given adorable little journals adorned with birds and flowers along with rubber stamps and ink. To see more photos from this precious party, visit the full gallery.
