Eclectic, World Traveler Themed Nursery

Eclectic Travel Themed Nursery

Expecting mama Lindsey Kemper of LB Photography immediately started browsing bedding, furniture, and decor when she found out she was pregnant. However, she found herself disappointed in the average mainstream nurseries she was seeing for boys, so she decided to create a more eclectic, personal space. Lindsey chose a yellow, gray, and turquoise palette to go with a fun world traveler theme that could grow with baby Kohen as he gets older. She used a lot of family pieces to bring in some history, like the repainted dresser that was actually one of the first pieces of furniture her grandparents bought after they were married in the 1950s! With a little elbow grease and some creativity she also transformed some Craigslist finds into unique items, from the armoire converted into a changing table with hanging pegboard to the old rocker reupholstered with coordinating fabric. Check out the full list of sources at the bottom of the post, and stop by the full gallery to see all of the photos submitted of this adventurous room!
