Please Note:

From 2011-2016, we had an inspiration blog featuring nurseries, baby showers, parties, and portraits that were submitted to us by photographers, designers, and parents. We no longer accept submissions or post new blog content, but we have left the archive here for those who have saved this content, or for new readers looking for inspiration.

DIY Project: A Kid-Friendly Thanksgiving Tablescape

Thanksgiving is just a week away, and we have an interactive, kid-friendly project to help make your table a little more festive! DIY contributor Karen Davis crafted this tablescape that is perfect for Thanksgiving decor and a lot of fun for your little ones at the same time. The project includes a paint stamped burlap runner, a gold dipped branch centerpiece, and sweet handwritten placecard tags. The kids can help with every component of the project, and seeing the smiles on their faces as it all comes together is half the fun! Click here to check out all the details, how-to instructions, and helpful photos. If you'd like to share how it all turned out for your family, be sure to tag us on instagram or twitter at @lilumbrella! We can't wait to see your mini masterpieces!
