The look and feel of this vibrant, festive baby shower was all inspired by the bright, fun personality of the mama-to-be, Lexi. Her best friend, Jaime Kostechko of Wild Heart Events, was beyond excited to plan this special day for her. The event was so cheerful and warm, from the personal DIY details to the down-to-earth decor. "We decided to go with a colorful vintage farm theme, complete with a vintage crib to hold the gifts, baby food jar favors with bold-colored farm animals on top and 'Scout' the charming trailer for guests to gather in and sip their cocktails. Mason Jars were filled with 'Ready to Pop' drink flags and popsicles for guests to pour champagne (or pellegrino for our mom-to-be) over for our signature cocktail, and the spread consisted of gourmet salads, quiches, fruits, and sandwiches for guests to nosh on. DIY yarn-wrapped vases filled with Baby's breath, atop vintage floral linens set the tables outside, while inside the barn, guests wrote silly messages on 'Late Night Diapers', left love notes for the baby girl on a handmade wall-hanging, and used yarn to guess the size of Lexi's belly that was later tied onto a dream-catcher to hang above the baby's crib. I think my favorite moment of the day was when the Mom-to-be arrived to the front of the barn, adorned with a huge 'OH BABY' sign and she came running up in excitement. The whole day was filled with so much love and friendship. I just can't wait to meet her baby girl!"
