This beautiful nursery for baby Beatrix is so sweet and feminine, but also has some fun touches of glam. Her mom, Jennifer of Jennifer Hamilton Events, lovingly designed this pretty space for her, opting to use a combination of both old and new pieces in a gorgeous peach, gold, and gray palette. This room is absolutely perfect for a little girl, but it also has enough versatility and sophistication that it will last Bea for many years to come! Jennifer shared how she brought this space together, so read on below for more details, then stop by the full gallery to see all of the lovely images captured by Jenna Henderson.
"When I first discovered I was pregnant I decided that if we were having a girl, I would do a very neutral, "no frills" room. But then when we actually found out we were having a girl my mind changed completely. I wanted to do something girly, yet classic and not too 'over the top'. I have always loved a peach and gold color combination so that was my initial inspiration and I knew that she absolutely had to have a chandelier! I also knew I didn't want to purchase a bunch of new furniture that could only be used in a nursery. I wanted more meaningful pieces that Beatrix will be able to use throughout her life. From there my love of mixing modern and vintage took over and I ended up with a sweet, feminine nursery with a good balance of old and new. While I've never been a fan of 'themed rooms' there are definitely some running themes in Beatrix's nursery that just sort of happened. My husband and I attended the University of Alabama and are big Bama fans so naturally, lots of elephants show up here and there in the nursery. And since we are naming our little girl Beatrix, friends and family members have already started calling her 'Bea' which led me to start looking for cute 'bee' decor as well. And of course, because of the most famous Beatrix, we had to throw in some Beatrix Potter and Peter Rabbit items as well."
