Marcie Maler of Maler Photography is one creative, crafty, expecting mama! She planned this darling owl themed baby shower full of rustic charm to celebrate their little boy on the way. For this event, Marcie transformed their photography studio in Branford, CT using rented tables and chairs, linens, props and little owl accents, all in a wintery white palette accented with blue, green, and gray to coordinate with the colors of the baby's nursery. Mason jars filled with baby's breath and white roses made for lovely centerpieces on tables adorned with burlap runners, chalkboard table numbers, and scattered pine cones.

Guests enjoyed a delicious spread that included mini quiche, cheese platter, fruit salad, doughnut hole tower, mini chicken salad sandwiches and pastries, spiral ham, potatoes, and cupcake shaped frittatas. After brunch, guests enjoyed some cute owl cupcakes and cookies. Activities included a diaper raffle, with the chance to win a beautiful gift basket put together by Marcie's mom, and a "Dear Baby" card for family and friends to share their predictions and wishes for the little one on the way.
