The circus theme is still going strong, and it's easy to see why with an adorable circus themed nursery like this one, created by baby Jackson's mom, Carrie of Fleurish Events! This space is filled with handcrafted details, from the bright bunting to the super cute pie embroidery hoops. There are also some really clever ideas here, like the animals cracker tins that have been transformed into lighting! As you can see, cutie pie Jackson is right at home in this space. Erin Milnik Photography captured this little guy so beautifully, along with his amazing room. You can see all the photos submitted in the full gallery. Read on at the bottom of this post for more details about the room from Carrie.
"When my husband and I found out we were pregnant with our little man (Jackson) I was beyond excited!! He was a long anticipated little one and so I went into extreme nesting for the last two trimesters. It was so much fun to get ready to bring our son into the world. When I started researching nurseries, I knew I wanted to do something different then your typical light blue nursery theme. One day I found myself at a fabric store looking for inspiration and was just about to walk out the door disappointed when I came across the cutest mustache fabric. I usually don't go for the trendy but I fell in love with that fabric and designed the nursery around it. After work in the evenings I would sit at the sewing machine and create the bright flags, pillow cases and crib skirt for Jackson's nursery. My mother sewed the cute little circus elephant on the white rocking chair and the elephants hanging from the crib. I came across the pie embroidery hoops (hanging above the changing table) on Pinterest and just had to make them. The different antiques in the room were hidden finds I came across at the Alameda Flea Market in San Francisco. At one of the vendor booths I picked up three Barnum's Animals cracker tins and my friend came up with the idea of making them into lanterns which was absolutely brilliant! They were super easy to make and add a nice glow to the nursery at night. When the last detail was finished it was so much fun to stand back and see all the handcrafted details and the nursery complete. The nesting was finished! We loved welcoming our little man into the world just this last November."
