Expecting mom, Lynnell Hayes of Threaded Together Photography, created an elegant baby shower brunch inspired by her love of breakfast food with the help of her mother and friend Lindsay. Royal blue and emerald green were added to a pink palette to keep it feminine but not overly girly to celebrate baby girl Kate on the way. Lynell found the perfect invitations from Minted to match the color scheme.

Guests enjoyed welcome mimosas and dined on a brunch of berry and yogurt parfait, tomato basil frittata, rosemary potatoes, and homemade berry scones with preserves. Strawberry mint iced tea was also served in mason jars with green and white striped straws. Some of the tables were adorned with stacked vintage tea cup centerpieces featuring a single peony bloom, while others featured full arrangements of peonies, ranunculus and hydrangeas in vintage tea tins. Lollia hand creme favors with tags stamped with "merci" awaited guests at each place setting.

For the sweets, Lynell did a cute twist on the classic diaper cake by making the bottom tier a diaper base, but then placed the real cake on top, decorated with bright blue ribbon, pink ranunculus, and a DIY bunting topper. Strawberry and maple donuts were also available to enjoy or take home for later in pink bakery boxes. Rather than your typical shower games, guests decorated onesies at a fully stocked craft station. They could choose from a variety of options like paints, fabric markers, sewing materials, and iron-ons.
