Please Note:

From 2011-2016, we had an inspiration blog featuring nurseries, baby showers, parties, and portraits that were submitted to us by photographers, designers, and parents. We no longer accept submissions or post new blog content, but we have left the archive here for those who have saved this content, or for new readers looking for inspiration.

Gender Neutral Little Animal Baby Shower

This super cute gender neutral baby shower hosted for good friends Liezen and Keely was inspired by a simple sheet of animal stickers. Event planner Anastasia Viray of Sugar Soiree took the inspiration of four simple silhouettes of an elephant, bird, bunny, and whale and ran with it. This is a great idea you can use if you are looking for a theme or style and want the design to be cohesive. Anastasia incorporated the little animal motifs throughout the decor, bringing it all together for a consistent look in a pretty pastel palette of pink, blue, gray, green, and yellow. With a small budget, most of the decor was hand created. For example, the framed art featuring the animals was drawn and painted by hand, then framed with inexpensive IKEA frames.
